Liu Yang stated that as a key application market to be laid out this year, Jihai Semiconductor will continue to focus on areas such as smart home and smart office, industrial automation, electric vehicles, and intelligent transportation, providing high-performance motor control solutions and technical support.

It is reported that in 2024, Jihai is expected to launch three motor chip products to meet the deep development needs of motor applications. These three new products are: GHD3440 series dual N-channel three-phase motor dedicated gate driver, APM32M3514 series motor control dedicated MCU, and GHD3125R series 3P+3N motor dedicated three-phase gate driver.

Multi functional integration promotes the advancement of motor control chip technology and expands its application scope

The diverse demands of BLDC motor end users have put forward many new requirements for BLDC motor control chips. BLDC chips need to integrate more diverse functions to achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement for customers, and the end market is also more inclined towards chip level highly integrated motor solutions.

System level integrated solutions are easier to meet the end market's demand for rich functionality, stable performance, and flexible applications. In terms of improving the integration of motor chips, Liu Yang stated that Jihai Semiconductor is committed to integrating more functions into a single chip and fully considering good interconnection and collaborative work with other peripheral devices, including pre drive, LDO, protection circuits, connections, simulation, etc.

In addition to improving integration, MCU needs to have high performance and complete algorithms to achieve precise control of BLDC motors. Liu Yang specifically introduced the APM32F035 series motor control dedicated MCU, which has abundant peripheral resources and integrates various high-performance algorithms and innovative functions, and provides a complete set of FOC algorithms implemented from the hardware level.

In addition, Jihai Semiconductor also provides all control algorithms for motor applications, optimizing PWM waveforms, PID controllers, position detection, etc. to achieve higher precision management of other parameters such as rotor position, speed and acceleration, output torque, etc., in a low-cost solution to meet more application requirements.

The demand in the motor market is constantly changing with end users, and motor chip companies need to constantly pay attention to and respond to market development trends, continuously improve product performance and reliability. Jihai Semiconductor also stated that it will strengthen cooperation with industry partners to jointly promote the progress of motor control chip technology and expand its application scope.
